Social Science Degree in Political Science

Political science is one of many branches of social science degree options available to people who study this area. It is mainly centered around the theory, descriptions, analysis and prediction of political systems, political behavior and politics in general. One requirement for a degree in political science is typically a general interest and like of politics in the first place.

As a political scientist, you will work in different areas to study the transfer of power in the roles and systems of governments and even international organizations. You may study the measure of success of a particular government or organization as well as examine the stability of said organization or governance.

What is required to work a job in political science? For most jobs and career choices, you will need at least a bachelor’s degree if not higher. If you already have a degree in social science, it may lower the requirements you need to specialize in political science.
